The DKBK Exchange is an 18+, pro-ship/pro-fic fan-hosted event where writers & artists can celebrate their shared love for the romantic relationship between Midoriya Izuku & Bakugou Katsuki. In specific, this event is centered around the *DekuBaku Dynamic. This is a fixed dynamic event, meaning all NSFW material depicted will include Top!Midoriya Izuku and Bottom!Bakugou Katsuki.

Each round of the DKBK Exchange will have its own unique theme to inspire creativity from its participants. Writers and artists of all skill levels are encouraged to join the exchange, regardless of expereince in other exchanges or previous rounds.

1. What does Fixed DkBk Dynamic mean?All content that doesn’t fall under SFW and has mentions of sex/NSFW content is required to be Top!Izuku Midoriya and Bottom!Bakugou Katsuki. There are nuances to the discussion surrounding SFW DKBK vs. KTDK, but the simplest way to describe it for the expectations of this event is to avoid “Uke” stereotypes for Izuku and “Seme” stereotypes for Katsuki. While this exchange is focused on the DKBK dynamic, we still allow for different dom/sub dynamics, gender identities, and a wide variety of interpretations for these characters, including implied switching, all we require is that you don’t write Top!Bakugou Katsuki/Bottom!Izuku Midoriya, and remain mindful of your giftee’s DNWs. Writing explicit KTDK content in our collection will result in default if caught prior to submissions going live, and can result in a strike or ban if already published.2. What exactly is a gift exchange?A fanwork gift exchange means you will make a request for the kind of content you want to receive as well as content you do not want to receive (tropes you enjoy reading/viewing as well as do not wants) and someone else will fulfill your request and gift you with a work of their own. Gifts will be released anonymously when they go live and after one week, author/artists reveals will take place.

3. What are the requirements?Writers are required to write a piece that is at least 1.5k words and artists are required to submit a completed piece, whether that is an illustration or comic, etc. Adherence to the theme for each individual round is highly recommended.4. I've never been in an exchange before. Can I still participate?You absolutely can and are encouraged to do so! The purpose of this event is to welcome writers of all levels to come together to write for each other & foster community without a paywall or application process.
